BURBAN PALETTES has been specialised for over 30 years in collecting, sorting and repairing used pallets.
The company sells different types of pallets and has extended its know-how to now include the recovery and recycling of wood waste.

At this time, the wooden pallet was a common product that nobody paid attention to.
The young entrepreneur, however, could see a market developing that was still rudimentary and which nobody thought had a great future.

By setting up quickly in Orval, in the centre of France, then in Ormes, the company extended its reach and its means of action.
The proximity of major road connections helped its development.
1995: Burban Palettes takes on the capital. Increasing demand and the necessity to find new supply sources led the company to set up in the west of Paris, in Flins-sur-Seine, followed by the east of Paris, in Lagny-sur-Marne.
From 1999: the company’s geographic development continued with the opening of Cercottes in Loiret.
Between 2000 and 2002: opening in Le Havre in Normandy, in Ploërmel in Brittany and in the Rhône-Alpes region
2001: Expansion of the service offering and development of national coverage. Creation of Valorpal, a subsidiary taking care of the complete management of pallet flows for large companies.
2003: Installation in Chevilly Larue near Rungis National Interest Market. Burban Palettes becomes a major player in pallets for the fresh produce industry.
2010: Purchase of the secure and automated site
in Neuville-aux-Bois.
2011: Merger with two subsidiaries: M2P Le Havre and Breitz palettes in Guégon to harmonise the Group and solidify its position in Brittany and Normandy. Installation in Midi-Pyrénées in Saint-Alban on a 15,000 m² space with 1,800 m² of covered warehouses.
2013: Installation in Rouen Canteleu to develop business with the Rouen National Interest Market and to create synergies with the Le Havre and Flins branches.

The company turns a corner with the inauguration of its new building of over 3,000 m², as well as the operation of the biomass boiler, all on an area of 7 ha.
This new platform is dedicated to combating wastage and promoting the circular economy: from product design to recycling into biomass fuel. Burban Palettes offers this biomass fuel to supply boilers belonging to third-party operators.
April 2014 : Intensification of presence in Ile-de-France with the opening of a site in Moissy-Cramayel. This latest production site is in an important industrial zone in Ile-de-France.
2014: Merger with the company REI. This Breton subsidiary allows for new impetus in the region of choice of Didier BURBAN.

In 2015, BURBAN PALETTES continues its internal development with the expansion and refurbishment of the head office in Ormes in Loiret. This deployment is confirmed with the modernisation and extension of the ORVAL branch.
Since September 2015, the Orval site covers more than one hectare on an asphalt courtyard. The construction of an additional 740 m² building provides space for a new repair workshop and social premises.
In November, the site of Le Havre moves around 20 km away to Saint Sauveur d’Emalleville.
The pallet activity in this geographical area is reinforced with land of over 1 hectare and a 1,200 m² building.
With two production sites in Seine Maritime, BURBAN PALETTES consolidates its presence in Normandy.

Today, BURBAN PALETTES employees 550 people on 20 sites in France and recycles over 12 million pallets per year.
BURBAN PALETTES has a fleet of 100 motor vehicles and 260 different trailer types (box truck, tautliner, flatbed) distributed over all of its branches.
In the future, the company will continue its efforts to further improve its services, its skills and its efficiency.
